The Carriage House at the Concord School was constructed in 2018 to house the artifacts and store a large collection of horse-drawn carriages that were once collected by Mrs. Ent. Upon completion of this building, Mr. Hobart (Butch) Kane, a retired successful grocery store owner of 30 years, combined his collection with Mrs. Ent’s to create the what is seen today. Hobart expertise in rural history and antiques have been invaluable to the preservation of the site. Mr. Kane provided several restored artifacts, sleighs, and carriages along with the building’s one-of-a-kind centerpiece, the Kane Dairy Studebaker Milk Wagon.
